At 100%, this font is approximativel 30 mm (1.25 inch) tall.

It can be scaled up to 120% (approx. 36 mm, 1.5 inches) or scaled down to 80% (approx. 24 mm, 1 inch).

Magnolia Small

Magnolia Small is a variation of this font with different embroidery settings. Pull compensation, density and underlays are different to allow to scale down between 50% (11mm, 0.45 inch) and 25% (5mm ,1/6 inch). That’s why in the lettering dialog window, if using Magnolia Small, you will have to pick up a scale between 25 and 50%.

Contrarly to Magnolia KOR, Magnolia Small MUST be embroidered with thread and needle smaller than usual. A USA 8 (EUR 60) size needle, and 60WT thread MUST be used.

Magnolia Bicolor and Magnolia tamed

Magnolia Bicolor/Mangnolia tamed are approximatively 45 mm (2 inches) tall. They can be scaled up to 150% (approx. 67 mm, 3 inches) or scaled down to 70% (approx. 31 mm, 1.25 inch).

Color sorting

If you use Magnolia bicolor or Magnolia tamed, you may wish to color sort. It is possible, providing the sorting respects the relative order inside each letter. This is a way to do it
