Scaling
When using the lettering tool, scaling of the font is controlled by allowing a scaling percentage range.
If you try to further decrease or increase the font size outside the lettering tool, the result might not embroider correctly.
The lettering tool will allow you to scale Emilio 20 down to 70% for a size of approximatively 33.95 mm (1.32 in), and up to 140% for a size of approximatively 67.9 mm (2.65 in).
The lettering tool will allow you to scale EMILIO_20_Bold down to 100% for a size of approximatively 49.0 mm (1.91 in), and up to 150% for a size of approximatively 73.5 mm (2.87 in).
The lettering tool will allow you to scale Emilio 20 Simple down to 50% for a size of approximatively 21.0 mm (0.82 in), and up to 140% for a size of approximatively 58.8 mm (2.29 in).
The lettering tool will allow you to scale EMILIO_20_Tartan down to 65% for a size of approximatively 31.85 mm (1.24 in), and up to 150% for a size of approximatively 73.5 mm (2.87 in).

Special Features
Emilio 20 Applique
- first step, red : Placement stitches. This is to mark where you will need to place the fabric. May also be used for cut machine.
- second step, green: Tackdown stitches. This is to hold the fabric in place prior to finishing the edges.
- third step ,black : Satin stitches. This is to finish the edge of the fabric. Make sure you have cut the fabric before embroidering this step.
Emilio Simple Small
Emilio 20 Simple Small MUST be embroidered with thread and needle smaller than usual. A USA 8 (EUR 60) size needle, and 60WT thread MUST be used.
Emilio Tartan
Each letter of Emilio 20 Tartan has its own tartan, therefore embroidering it as is is not for the faint of heart ! Quite a few threads changes are required.
